My name is Stephanie, and I’m the founder of this Lakeville, MN-based business. I help homeowners across the Minneapolis-St. Paul area with interior design and home staging that’s timeless and inspiring. My journey to becoming a design and staging expert took an unexpected path—I started my career in the legal field as a Probation and Parole Agent.
How My Background Prepared Me to Help You
My professional story began in public service, working for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for over 20 years. As a Probation and Parole Agent, my job required me to be thorough, stay organized, and find solutions to complicated situations.
What I Learned Along the Way
During my years as a probation agent, I developed skills that now help me in design and staging. For example:

These experiences shaped who I am and how I work. I bring this same care and dedication to every design and staging project, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
My Personal Story: Learning the Hard Way About Staging
Getting your home ready to sell can feel overwhelming, and I know this from experience. Back in 2011, my family and I found our dream home. It had everything we wanted and was in a community we loved. But there was one issue: we still had to sell our current home.
We listed it in September, thinking it would sell quickly because it was well-decorated and in great condition. Our realtor didn’t mention staging, and I didn’t know much about it. I did what I thought would work, based on TV shows and intuition.
After two long months with no offers, we had to settle for less-than-ideal timing. We ended up losing our dream home and had to scramble to find another house. While it wasn’t what we initially wanted, it turned out to be the home we fell in love with.
Looking back, I realized that staging could have made all the difference. That experience stayed with me, and it’s part of why I’m so passionate about helping others avoid the same frustration. Now, I have the knowledge and training to make sure your home stands out and sells quickly, so you don’t miss out on your next dream home.
My Passion for Design
Even though my career started in a completely different field, I’ve always loved design. Making the switch from probation to interior design and staging wasn’t just a career change—it was a chance to follow my passion. I’ve since earned multiple certifications and combined my problem-solving mindset with creativity to craft interiors that are beautiful, functional, and tailored to each client’s needs.
